Video Message To Bullies: It Gets Worse

I am proud to say that I know Matt McKeown. Matt, his brothers and father have been a big part of repainting my Christian journey. Matt posted this brief video message on my Facebook wall. Please share this with others.

  1. I hear and understand what you're saying...but I can't count "water-boarding" or other techniques of gaining information as "bullying" in a state of "war."

I've never been in a war. I've never witnessed the brutality of it and the ugliness of it.

I do however feel that IF there is war, and there is, and always has been, will be...I will choose LIVING over letting someone kill me or my friends, family, etc, if using what you would call "bullying" will save them, I will choose to do what is needed to protect them and myself, if I have to.

    Just my .02

  2. Just to be really 'clear', yes, I did hear you say that the person doing the "torture" in water-boarding or other interrogation techniques, would effect that person's personality, perhaps long term...I can agree on that.

I haven't seen any of the studies you've said showed this and what percent suffer from it?

I do know that military people deserve our highest respect, since they are out there keeping "us" free to write what we feel and to protect our homeland.

I don't pretend to know the facts about this, but I think there is a fine line between certain ways people behave.

Everyone is so "pc" today that even the slightest word, or action can be looked at as "bullying".

Maybe I'm on of these "bully's" and don't know it? I don't go out of my way to hurt someone, or a group of people. I joke with my buddies and we tease each other, but never consider it "bullying" to one another...

...I may be wrong on the whole concept of what "bullying" is?

I'll have to talk to Mike sometime about this...among other things.

I met Mike thru twitter and have had the pleasure to talk with him briefly a few times, all of which have been very nice.

Another .o2 in the "Post a Comment" box!
